Summit Log Products offers custom planing.  We have the capacity to surface lumber up to 6"x 12" With a Newman 500 planer molder.  Summit Log can supply various standard lumber patterns including 2" Center match Decking, 1" WP4, and Tongue and Groove log siding patterns.

    Our facility in Dillon also includes a 24,000 Bf Lumber dry kiln.  This is a low temperature, high drying quality kiln.  Any time you dry a wood product down prior to obtaining the final profile, it greatly reduces the chances for cracking, checking and shrinking after the product has been installed.

Summit Log Products now have the capacity to mill angled notches. This system enables us to mill truss angles with machine precision. This technique also works well for manufacturing prow fronts, bays and any other angled notches you may need in the home or accent.
