COST TO BUILD

Construction costs vary across the nation from $95 to $150 per square foot and up depending on the area you build and the method of construction you use.  These are some of the most popular ways to build.

A. Be your own General Contractor and build it yourself.

B. Be your own General Contractor and hire a Dry In crew to stack the logs, construct the roof system, and generally close it in. Then you can take your time to finish the interior and roof covering.

C. Hire a General Contractor to do a Turn Key job.  For someone without a lot of spare time and some construction knowledge, this may, in the end, be the most cost effective way to go.

In any case, the cost of your home will vary depending on several other things.

How many square feet of living space do you require?

How many bedrooms and baths will you need?

What type of roof system do you want?

What type of foundation will you use?

Will there be stonework?

What type of floor covering do you want?

What style of plumbing and electrical fixtures do you prefer?

What do you want for interior wall covering?

May other factors can add or shave cost.  Our Professional Home Consultants can assist you in designing your home to fit your needs and your budget.
