The fact that log homes are made of wood doesn’t necessarily mean they are more apt to burn. Stick built homes are made of wood also. The same rules apply to log homes as any other homes. When building the home, make sure the builder, electrician, plumbing and heating company and any other companies constructing the home are licensed and reputable. If they are constructed properly, there is no reason why it should be more apt to burn down.
